How does the brain work? Why do autoimmune diseases affect some people? What does the inside of an eye look like? How does metabolism work? What does a bacteria look like? What is lichen? Do algae have the possibility to affect their own lives? How can mould be poisonous and yet become medicine? What is the connection between the nerve cells around the intestines and the brain? How does one heal? Does trauma create wounds in the brain? How important is saltwater for life on earth? How do foreign substances affect the relationship between various biological processes?

I find considerable inspiration in old botanical books and medical illustrations from different eras. I am also interested in medical research, and in both health-issues and societal questions concerned with the environment and food, locally and globally. I am interested in various biological processes and the interaction between different species and organisms.
